Effective 2026-06-20. This policy describes how Rip&List uses cookies and similar technologies on cardmarket.com and our mobile app. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let us
recognize you between page loads, keep you signed in, remember preferences,
and measure how the site is used. We also use comparable technologies like
localStorage and service workers.

3. Local storage and service worker
We use localStorage for:
- Onboarding card "don't show again" preference
- PWA install prompt dismissal
- Loyalty tier display preferences
Our service worker caches static assets and lets the site work briefly when offline. You can disable both from your browser's site-settings panel.
4. Third-party cookies
- Stripe — sets its own cookies on the checkout page to detect fraud and prevent card-testing. See stripe.com/cookie-settings.
- Sentry — captures anonymous error context. No cross-site tracking.
We don't run advertising trackers, social-network pixels, or cross-site analytics. We do not sell or share cookie data.
5. Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies from your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and break checkout.
Everything else is optional.

We'll update the effective date above and notify signed-in users via email when we make material changes.
